World Health Day 2022 Workout Challenge

World Health Day is celebrated annually on April 7th, and what better way to honor it than by challenging yourself to a workout challenge? This year, let's take the opportunity to prioritize our health and commit to a workout challenge that will challenge us physically and mentally.

Here's a 7-day workout challenge to celebrate World Health Day 2022:

Day 1: Cardio Blast
Start the week off strong with a cardio blast. Choose your favorite form of cardio - running, cycling, jumping jacks, or jumping rope - and challenge yourself to 30 minutes of non-stop movement.

Day 2: Upper Body Strength
On day two, focus on building upper body strength. Choose exercises like push-ups, tricep dips, bicep curls, or shoulder presses and complete 3 sets of 12-15 reps.

Day 3: Lower Body Strength
Day three is all about building lower body strength. Squats, lunges, deadlifts, and calf raises are all great exercises to target your glutes, quads, and hamstrings. Complete 3 sets of 12-15 reps.

Day 4: Yoga or Stretching
Take a break from high-intensity workouts and focus on flexibility and relaxation. Join a yoga class or spend 30 minutes stretching and foam rolling.

Day 5: HIIT Workout
Get your heart rate up and burn calories with a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout. Alternate between periods of high-intensity exercise and rest for 30-40 minutes.

Day 6: Core Workout
On day six, focus on building a strong core. Planks, sit-ups, Russian twists, and leg lifts are all great exercises to challenge your abs and obliques.

Day 7: Active Rest Day
Finish off the week with an active rest day. Take a walk, go for a hike, or try a new activity like rock climbing or kayaking.

Remember to listen to your body and modify the exercises as needed. Don't forget to fuel your body with healthy foods and plenty of water throughout the week.

By completing this 7-day workout challenge, you'll not only honor World Health Day, but you'll also challenge yourself physically and mentally. Get ready to feel stronger, healthier, and more energized as you celebrate your commitment to your health and wellness. Happy World Health Day!
